Accelerometers

Accelerometers are sensors capable of measuring acceleration. They are usually composed of a mass block, a damper, an elastic element, a sensitive element and a tunable circuit. In the process of acceleration, the inertial force of the mass block is measured by the sensor, and the acceleration value is obtained by Newton's second law. According to the different sensor sensitive elements, common acceleration sensors include capacitive, inductive, strain, piezoresistive, piezoelectric and so on. Acceleration sensors are specifically used in automotive safety, electronic compass, hard disk protection, device or terminal attitude detection.
